STEELEVILLE, Irma Ebers, 84, of Steeleville, passed away at 9:08 PM Thursday, March 1, 2012, at Chester Rehab and Nursing Center in Chester, Illinois. She was born July 19, 1927 in Jackson County, Illinois the daughter of Charles A. and Mae E. Isom Lueher. Irma married Elmer A. Ebers on Friday, October 28, 1949 in Perryville, MO. Elmer preceded her in death on March 14, 2011. She was a homemaker and was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville. Irma is survived by her son, Steven J. Ebers of Steeleville; two grandchildren, Alexandra and Sabrina; and one sister, Barbara Lampe of Campbell Hill, IL. Irma was preceded in death by her parents; four brothers and one sister. Funeral services will be held Monday, March 5, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. S. Blake Duncan officiating. Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Monday from 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM.
