STEELEVILLE – Imogene Fiene, 68, of Steeleville, passed away at 6:10 AM, Friday, July 12, 2019, at her home in Steeleville.

Imogene was born on January 27, 1951, in Steeleville, the daughter of Paul H. and Edna L (Hapke) Cording. She married Bruce H. Fiene on January 18, 1974, at the Peace Lutheran Church, in Steeleville, she was a receptionist at the First National Bank of Steeleville. Imogene was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, Randolph County Genealogy Society, BBK American Legion Auxiliary Post #480, Former Town Board Member from 2004-2012, Car Cruise in Steeleville for a number of years, managed girls khoury league and played on Cording and Rathert Softball Team.

Imogene is survived by her husband; Bruce H. Fiene, of Steeleville, children; Jason S. Fiene, of Cape Girardeau, Missouri, Kari L. (Tyson) Rheinecker, of Columbia, Illinois, 3 grandchildren; Kyley Rheinecker, Kaelyn Rheinecker, and Caleb Fiene. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Marline (Orville) Rathert, of Steeleville, and Lynette (Robert) Bollmann, of Steeleville.

Mrs. Fiene was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Tuesday, July 16, 2019, at the Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville with Minister Deb Rathert officiating, burial will follow at the Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Monday evening at the church where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Tuesday from 9 to 11 AM. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Siteman Cancer Center, or St. Jude's Childrens Research Hospital. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with the arrangements.
