CAMPBELL HILL, Howard W. Reuscher, 81, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 5:56 AM Sunday, June 16, 2013, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Howard was born October 23, 1931 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the son of Henry C. and Lena (Froemling) Reuscher. Howard married Patricia Sharrock on Wednesday, July 18, 1987 in Bremen, Illinois. Howard was a retired farmer and Trico High School custodian. He was in the U.S. Army during the Korean conflict. He was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church. Howard was also a lifetime member of Campbell Hill American Legion Post#1096, Kaskaskia V.F. W. Post#3553, Chester, IL, Board of Directors of Prairie Farms and the American Dairy Association. He is survived by his wife: Patricia Reuscher, Campbell Hill, IL; 4 children: Tina (Albert) Rabe, Ava;Terry (Rosemary) Reuscher, Austin, TX; Tony (Dawn) Reuscher, Evansville, IN and Ted (Sharon) Reuscher, Ava.; Step-children: Robert (Cynthia) Langwith, Willisville, IL and Brian Langwith, Campbell Hill, IL; 8 Grandchildren; 12 Step Grandchildren and numerous Great Grandchildren and Step-Great Grandchildren. Howard is also survived by Brothers and sister-in-Laws: Jane (Lyle) Schmidt, Chester, IL; Daniel (Sandy) Sharrock, Sparta, IL; Glenn (Ginger) Sharrock, Willisville, IL and LeAnn (Larry) Willis, Ava, IL Howard is preceded in death by his parents, infant sister, Alberna Reuscher, Sister-in-law, Caroline Yeley; infant brother-in-law, Robert Sharrock and mother and father-in-law, Leland and Evelyn Sharrock. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, June 19, 2013 at 10:00 AM at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with. Rev. Matthew Kamprath officiating. Burial will follow at St. Luke's Lutheran Cemetery, Campbell Hill, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava on Tuesday where friends may call from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Wednesday from 7:30am to 10am. Memorials may be made to St. Luke's Steeple Fund, Perry County Humane Society or the Family.
