TILDEN – Helen M. Rothwell, 77, of Tilden, IL, passed away Sunday, September 11, 2022, at her home in Tilden, Illinois.

Helen was born September 12, 1944, in Tilden, IL, to Joseph and Jessie (McKenzie) Jarrett. She married Ronald Rothwell on August 31, 1962, in Tilden, IL, he preceded her in death on April 18, 2013. Helen was a homemaker and a member of First Baptist Church, Tilden, IL.

Helen is survived by her sons: Doug (Ella) Rothwell of Phoenix, AZ, Greg Rothwell of Belleville, IL, Gary (Ginnie) Rothwell of Swanwick, IL; her daughter, Rhonda (John) Hancock of Sparta, IL, six grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and a sister, Dorothy Lueth of Sparta, IL.

Helen is also preceded in death by her parents, special friend and significant other, William Terry.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, September 19, 2022, at First Baptist Church, Tilden, IL, with Rev. Paul Hahn officiating. Burial to follow at Tilden Cemetery. Visitation will be held at First Baptist Church, Tilden, IL, where friends may call from 5 – 7 pm, Sunday, and 9 – 11 am, Monday.
