CHESTER – Helen Bradley Misselhorn, 97, of Chester passed away at 7:55 PM, Thursday, May 14, 2020 at the Sparta Community Hospital.
Helen was born on November 22, 1922, in Willisville, the daughter of Ernest W. and Ruby (Brandhorst) Bradley. She married Emil F. Misselhorn on September 2, 1942, in Perryville, Missouri and they shared 32 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on March 15, 1975. Helen was retired from banking, and a member of the First Baptist Church in Chester.
Helen is survived by her daughter; Jane (Bill) Wallentiny, 2 grandchildren; Jeffrey (Pam) Wallentiny, and Michelle Wallentiny. She is also survived by a brother; Byron Bradley, of Jackson, Missouri.
Mrs. Misselhorn was preceded in death by her parents, 1 sister, and 1 brother.
Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic, private graveside services will be held at the Calvary Cemetery, Campbell Hill with Minister Deb Rathert officiating, burial will follow. Memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Chester, or the Calvary Cemetery, and may be mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, IL 62288.
