PERCY - Helen "Faye" Deppe, 91, of Percy, passed away at Cedarhurst in Sparta, Illinois, at 11:39 am, on Wednesday, January 26, 2022, surrounded by her loving family.

Helen Faye was born in Marion, Illinois, on September 2, 1930, the daughter of Allen S. and Edra E. Buescher Whitehead.  She married Ernest "Dale" Deppe on June 20, 1947, in Percy, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on May 30, 2008.  Faye was a Physical Therapy Assistant at St. Joseph Memorial Hospital in Murphysboro.  She was a member of Steeleville Methodist Church, Steeleville, Illinois, Steeleville Chapter #738 O.E.S., and Steeleville Eagles Aeries #3960.  Faye loved watching college basketball, especially the Fighting Illini, playing cards, and loved being with her family above all.

Faye is survived by four children, Allen "Butch" (Pam) Deppe of Chatham, IL, Donna (Tom) Riley of Springfield, IL, Kendra Moffett of Springfield, and Sendy (Paul) Miller of Percy; grandchildren, Taryn (Sean) Grant, Kayla (Kole) Boland, Tom (Jordyn) Deppe, Dee (Steven) Horton, Joe (Suvi) Moffett, and Maddie Moffett; great grandchildren, Kasen, Kohen and Kynlee Boland, Aislyn and Aidan Grant, and James and Perry Deppe.

Faye was also preceded in death by her Parents; son, Jim Deppe; son-in-law, Jim Moffett; and grandson, Aaron Deppe.

Due to Faye's wishes, cremation will take place and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to Shriner's Hospital, and can be mailed in c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 277, Ava, IL 62907.
