WILLISVILLE, Helen A. Beisner, 88, of Willisville, passed away at 1:40 A.M. Saturday, August 13, 2011, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, IL. Helen was born May 05, 1923 in Decatur, Illinois the daughter of Harry Jones and Mae (Mowry) Jones. Helen married Norman D. Beisner on July 12, 1942 in Perryville, MO. He preceded her in death on May 7, 2006. Helen was a retired housekeeper at Anna Mental Health. She was a former member of the First Methodist Church in Vienna, IL and presently a member of the Central Baptist Church in Willisville. She was a member of the Willisville Womens Organization, the Shawnee Eastern Star of Johnson County, and Johnson County Women Democrats Organization. She was an avid bowler and bingo player. Helen loved to shop and loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Helen is survived by one son, Norman "Wayne" (Diana) Beisner of Willisville; two granddaughters, Michelle (Eric) Carruthers of Campbell Hill, IL and Lisa (Andy) Govreau of Festus, MO; four great grandchildren, Chase and Ethan Carruthers and Spencer and Tatum Govreau; one sister-in-law, Christine Jones Harmon of Decatur, IL; and several nieces and nephews; great nieces and great nephews; and great great nieces and great great nephews. Helen was also preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Ralph, Louis and Floyd; and one half sister, Edna Mae. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 16, 2011 at 11:30 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Willis Durbin officiating. Burial will follow at Looney Springs Cemetery, Campbell Hill. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 10 to 11:30 am.
