JACOB – Harvey A. Hollmann, 87, on January 27, 2020, Harvey went to his heavenly home in the house he was born in and on the farm he farmed all his life.
Harvey was born on July 28, 1932 to Arthur and Suzanne (Grode) Hollmann in Jacob. On June 15, 1956, he married Alice Moeller to this union came two children, Bryan (Vickie) Hollmann and daughter, Peggy (Kevin) Bunselmeyer.
Harvey farmed with his father milking cows, raising pigs and chickens, running lights on the river and trucking. He also assisted Miesner Grain and Gilster Mary Lee. Harvey was baptized and confirmed at Christ Lutheran Church in Jacob where he served many capacities. He was a Korean Veteran serving our country from 1954-1956 and member of Chester of VFW Post #3553.
Harvey is survived by his wife, Alice Hollmann; son, Bryan (Vickie) Hollmann; daughter, Peggy (Kevin) Bunselmeyer; grandchildren, David (Haley) Hollmann, Eric (April) Hollmann, Klayton Bunselmeyer and Kourtney Bunselmeyer; great grandchildren, Keegan, Brayden, Garrett and Graham Hollmann; sister, Marilyn Imhoff; and his loving dog, Sassy.
Harvey was preceded in death by his Parents.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, January 30, 2020 at Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob with Rev. Josemon Hoem officiating. Burial will follow at Christ Lutheran Cemetery, Gorham. Visitation will be Christ Lutheran Church, on Thursday from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to Christ Lutheran Church or Immanuel Lutheran Church, Murphysboro.
