WILLISVILLE - Harold R. Rice, 85, of Willisville, passed away at 6:59 am, Tuesday, May 22, 2012 at the Heartland Regional Medical Center in Marion, IL. Harold was born in Cutler, Illinois on July 3, 1926, the son of Edward and Winnie Griffiths Rice. He married Virginia Presswood on November 15, 1946 at St. Louis, MO. She preceded him in death on November 29, 2011. He was a laborer. Harold is survived by two sons, Jerry Rice of Zeigler, IL and Terry Rice of Washington, MO; one daughter, Margaret MacNutt of O'Fallon, MO; 19 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; and one brother, Bob Rice of Sparta, IL. Harold was also preceded in death by his Parents; three sons; two daughters; four brothers; and two sisters. Funeral service will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 1:30 pm at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Stephen Duncan officiating. Burial will follow in Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11:30 am until 1:30 pm on Friday. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Association.
