STEELEVILLE, Greta M. Dunn, 38, of Steeleville, passed away at 6:23 A.M. Friday, February 18, 2011, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, IL. Greta was born April 13, 1972 in Geneva, Illinois the daughter of Konrad A. Kloos and Joan (Kling) Kloos. Greta married Daniel D. Dunn on August 8, 1998 in Chester, IL. Greta was a staff sergeant having retired from Illinois National Guard Army in 2004 and served in Co. B 133rd Signal Battalion in Sparta, IL. She was very active with the Family Support Group for the Illinois National Guard Army. She was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville and was a full time mom and wife. Greta is survived by her husband, Daniel D. Dunn of Steeleville, IL; daughters, Whitney Dunn of Percy, IL, Mariah Dunn and Hannah Dunn of Steeleville, IL; her parents, Konrad & Joan Kloos of Waterloo, IL; her brother, Thomas (Rita) Kloos of Belt Buckle, TN; her sister, Marcy (Gregg) Badger of Waterloo, IL; her best friend, Andy Wray of Steeleville, IL; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held Monday, February 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville with Rev. S. Blake Duncan and Rev. Will Hesterberg officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 5 to 8 pm and on Monday from 7:30 am until 9 am and on Monday at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL from 10 to 11 am. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Randolph County Humane Society.
