STEELEVILLE – Gloria J. Moore, 73, of Steeleville passed away at 8:06 AM, Monday, October 29, 2018, at the Memorial Hospital in Chester.
Gloria was born on October 13, 1945, in Calgary, Canada, the daughter of Howard L. and Helen (Bohay) Pugh. She married Everett Moore, on June 5, 1965, in Cutler and they shared 53 years of marriage. She was a member of the St. Mark's Lutheran Church, in Steeleville, was active with the Steeleville Library and St. Mark's Lutheran School Library for several years. Gloria also worked as a beautician for several years in the Cutler Steeleville area.
Gloria is survived by her husband; Everett Moore, of Steeleville, children; Monica Heob, of St. Mary's, Missouri, Mary Moore, of Steeleville, grandchildren; Bethany Moore, Samantha Stipe, and Logan Smith, and 2 great grandchildren; Cobie Moore and Khloe Liter.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents.
Funeral services will be held at 1 PM, Friday, November 2, 2018, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. William F. Engfehr, III, officiating, burial will follow in the Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Thursday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Friday from 7:30 to the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the College Fund for the Great Grandchildren Cobie, and Khloe.
