CHESTER, Glaydus Earlean Lindsey, 82, of Chester, passed away at 9:39 AM Thursday, June 23, 2016, at Memorial Hospital of Chester in Chester, Illinois.  She was born August 2, 1933 in Rockwood, Illinois the daughter of Harvey  and Florida (Farmer) Keeton.

Glaydus married William Andrew Lindsey, Jr. on August 11, 1951.  He  passed away on October 23, 1981.

Glaydus was a retired Housekeeper from Memorial Hospital in Chester, IL.  She was a member of the First Apostolic Pentecostal Church in Chester, IL.

She is survived by her sons: Jim Lindsey, Chester, IL and Michael Lindsey of Perryville, MO; 2 Grandchildren:  Christina Faulkner and Loretta Lindsey, 4 Great Grandchildren:  Amanda Rees, Justin Rees, Austin Lindsey and Chelsea Lindsey and 4 Great Great Grandchildren.  Glaydus is also survived by: Brothers: Phil Keeton, Chester, IL, Don Keeton, Tilden, IL, Roger Keeton, Chester, IL and Sisters:  Dorothy Hughes, Missouri, Arleen Korando, Chester, IL and Katherine Hughes, Eden, IL.

Glaydus is preceded in death by her parents, 4 brothers, Elmer, Verle, Bill and Jimmy and sister, Betty.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 28, 2016 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Rev. Phillip Keeton officiating.   Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery, Chester, IL.   Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, on Monday from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Tuesday from 7:30 to 11AM.
