STEELEVILLE, Geraldine W. Heuer, 72, of Steeleville, passed away at 2:10 P.M. Sunday, September 13, 2009, at Randolph County Care Center in Sparta, IL. Geraldine was born February 12, 1937 in Shiloh Hill, Illinois the daughter of Ardell W. Rubach and Stella D. (Middendorf) Rubach. She married Ralph E. Heuer on July 9, 1960 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, West Point, IL. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill, IL. Geraldine is survived by her husband Ralph E. Heuer of Steeleville, IL; two sons, Donald Heuer of Steeleville, IL and Kevin Heuer of Steeleville; one daughter, Nancy Heuer of Steeleville; six grandchildren, Natalie & Nathan Martin of Kansas City, KS, Stephanie & Morgan Heuer of Sparta, IL and Lance & Cody Heuer of Steeleville, IL; and one sister, Carolyn Brockmeyer of Percy, IL. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Leonard Rubach. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 16, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill with Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery, Wine Hill, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 6 to 8 pm and on Wednesday from 7:30 am until 11 am and on Wednesday at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill from Noon to 1 pm. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Building Fund or St. Paul's Cemetery Fund.
