CAMPBELL HILL – Gary L. Lampe, 59, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 1:47 PM, Monday, September 3, 2018 at his home.
Gary was born on June 3, 1959, in Murphysboro, the son of Marvin F. and Barbara E. (Luehr) Lampe. Gary was a farmer and worked at the Gateway Coal Mine in Coulterville, he was also a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, in Campbell Hill.
Gary is survived by his father; Marvin Lampe, of Campbell Hill, 1 brother; Don Lampe, of Sparta.
Mr. Lampe was preceded in death by his mother, and 1 brother; Dale.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Friday, September 7, 2018, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava, with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating, burial will follow at the St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be on Friday morning at the funeral home where friends may call from 10:30 to 11 AM. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church.
