SPARTA – Frank G. Wilson, 82, of Sparta, IL, passed away Thursday, September 15, 2022, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois.

Frank was born February 2, 1940, in Sparta, IL, to Cecil Wilson and Mary (Easdale) Wilson. He married Martha Scott on April 22, 1967, in Chester, IL. Frank was retired from Sparta Lite Metals, Sparta, IL, and was a member of Trinity Presbyterian Church, Sparta, IL. He enjoyed farming and tinkering around the farm.

Frank is survived by his wife, Martha Wilson, of Sparta, IL, his sons: Scott Wilson of Sparta, IL, Kevin Wilson (Kara) of Sparta, IL; grandchildren: Lillian Wilson, Abigail Wilson; and a brother, Roy Wilson, of Eldon, MO.

Frank is preceded in death by his parents, and one brother, Robert Darrel Wilson.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 am, Saturday, October 22, 2022, at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL, with Pastor Norm Howell officiating. Everyone is asked to meet at the cemetery.
