WILLISVILLE, Frank Giordano, 81, of Willisville, passed away at 11:58 PM Sunday, June 22, 2014, at Memorial Hospital of Carbondale in Carbondale, Illinois. He was born February 5, 1933 in Willisville, Illinois the son of Martin and Rosalie (Bellucia) Giordano. Frank was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a retired Iron Worker. He was a member of St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Willisville and a member of the Knights of Columbus. He is survived by his: daughter, Michelle (Thomas) Guiffre, Dyer, IN; son, Frank Michael (Cheryl) Giordano, Highland, IN; Grandsons, Richard and Bryce Giordano and Great Grandson, Lucus Giordano. Frank is also survived by 3 Sisters, Marie Giordano, Willisville; Rose Clough, Murphysboro and Clarlyn Giordano, Willisville, and several nieces and nephews. Frank is preceded in death by his parents and other relatives, Angie & Richard Grove, Frances & Jack McRoy, Ann Riggio, William Clough and Martin & Jean Giordano. Funeral services will be held Thursday, June 26, 2014 at 11:00 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois with Father Leo J. Hayes officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph's Catholic Cemetery, Willisville, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home , Steeleville, where friends may call from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM on Thurday. Memorials may be made to Alzheimer's Association or to the Masses.
