WATERLOO, Frances Kay Guy, 77, of Waterloo, IL passed away on Tuesday, March 8, 2011 in Waterloo, IL. Frances was born on July 3, 1933 in Vergennes, IL the daughter of Theodore and Geneieve (Miller) Creekpaum. She married Homer L. Guy. He passed away on August 11, 2001. Frances volunteered at Botanical Gift Store, Memorial Hospital Gift Store, and was employed at Cooper Industries (Bussman Fuses) St. Louis for many years, She also was a lifelong resident of Cahokia, IL. Frances is survived by her children: Connie L. and Ronald Sickels, Daniel L. and Ruth Guy and Carol Guy; six grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; sisters: Betty Powers, Doris McBride; brother: Charles and Tessis Creekpaum; sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunt and cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents, son, Rodney Guy at birth, brothers, Bob, Richard, and Don Creekpaum, and her sister, Judy Bushong. Graveside service will be on Monday, March 21, 2011 at 11:00 am at Ava Evergreen Cemetery in Ava, IL. The preferred form of remembrance is to the National Alzheimer's Association or to American Cancer Society.
