CHESTER - Ferron D. Hill, 31, of Chester, passed away at his home on Wednesday, June 27, 2012. Ferron was born in Chester, IL on September 22, 1980, the son of Dale Hill and Anna Taylor. He was a welder and was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville. Ferron is survived by his daughter, Taylor Hill of Steeleville; father and stepmother, Dale & Barbara Hill of Steeleville; mother, Annie Montgomery of Smith Grove, KY; step brother, Shane Caraker of Hampton, VA; paternal grandparents, Dean & Arlene Hill of Steeleville; maternal grandma, Anna Mae Dunning of Pinckneyville, IL; great grandma, Margaret McDowell of Steeleville; uncle, Les & Bonnie Hill of Steeleville; aunt, Leah Hammel of Steeleville; cousins, Deana Hill of Steeleville and Kyle Hill of SanDiego, CA. Due to Ferron's wishes, cremation will take place. A private memorial service will be held at a later date. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is in charge of arrangements.
