Everett and Jacquelyn Caupert

STEELEVILLE – Everett "Cob" Caupert, 92 of Steeleville, passed away October 16, 2020 and Jacquelyn "Jackie" Caupert, 90 of Steeleville passed away November 20, 2020.

Everett was born in Pinckneyville, IL, on May 20, 1928, to Oscar and Anna Bigham Caupert. He was retired from World Color Press, Sparta, IL.  Everett was a Navy Veteran of the Korean Conflict.  He was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL, BBK American Legion Post #480, Steeleville, IL, Kaskaskia VFW Post #3553, Chester, IL and Steeleville Eagles Aerie 3960.

Jacquelyn was born in Steeleville, IL, on September 22, 1930 to John H. and Margaret C. Rieckenberg Schnoeker.  Jackie was a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL and was a homemaker.

Everett and Jackie were married on April 23, 1950, in Steeleville, IL.

Everett and Jackie are survived by their children, Lynn (Ollie) Boxdorfer of Steeleville, Lea (Ric) Dintelman of Steeleville, and John Caupert of Steeleville; grandchildren; Craig (Jessica) Kranz, Jodi (John) Theobald and Andrew (Liza) Dintelman, great grandchildren; Shelby & Emma Kranz, Sam Theobald, step grandchildren; Kristy (Denny) Simms and Jeff (Shannon) Boxdorfer, step great grandchildren; Chris (Cassie) Theobald, Elizabeth Theobald, Brianna and Nathan Simms.

Everett and Jackie are preceded in death by their parents, Everett's brothers, Verlin and Robert.

Memorial services will be held at 11:30 am, Saturday, April 10, 2021, at Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL with Parrish Ministry Assistant Julie Posth officiating.  Burial to follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery. Family and friends may call from 10 – 11:30 am at the Church.  Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church "We Care" and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
