PERCY - Evelyn M. Wolters, 81, of Percy, passed away at 7:50 A.M. Friday, June 13, 2008, at Three Springs Lodge in Chester, IL. Evelyn was born June 28, 1926 in Steeleville, Illinois the daughter of Fred H. Mueller and Frieda (Hornbostel) Mueller. Evelyn married Raymond Wolters on March 27, 1948 in Steeleville, IL. He preceded her in death on February 3, 1982. Evelyn was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill, IL. She is survived by two sons, Don (Carol) Wolters of Percy and Dale (Donna) Wolters of Percy; one daughter, Debra (Larry) Schupbach of Sparta, IL; seven grandchildren, Amy (Bill) Harris, Lisa (Robert) Batson, Ryan, Justin, Samantha and Jessica Schupbach and Sarah Wolters; three great grandchildren, Hannah & Cheyenne Harris and Emma Batson; two brothers, Walter (Dorothy) Mueller of Steeleville and Albert (Clara) Mueller of Chester. Evelyn was also preceded in death by her parents and one twin brother. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 16, 2008 at 11:00 A.M. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church in Wine Hill with Rev. Tim B. Zechiel officiating. Burial will be follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday where friends may call from 6:30 to 9 pm and on Monday from 7:30 am until 9 am and Monday from 10 to 11 am at the church. Memorials may be made to St. Paul's Tape Ministry or St. Paul's Building Fund.
