CAMPBELL HILL - Evelyn E. Priebe, 75, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 5:50 P.M. Tuesday, October 07, 2008, at St. Anns Healthcare Center in Chester, IL. Evelyn was born January 13, 1933 in Rural Campbell Hill, Illinois the daughter of Walter Edward Guetersloh and Virginia Minnie (Rubach) Guetersloh. Evelyn married Leonard Priebe on April 21, 1956 in Christ Lutheran Church, Jacob, IL. Evelyn was a homemaker. She was a member of St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. She is survived by her husband Leonard Priebe of Campbell Hill; four sons, Terry (Mary) Priebe of Percy, IL, Robert (Stacy) Priebe of Pinckneyville, IL, John Priebe of Campbell Hill, IL and Stephen (Diann) Priebe of Pinckneyville; seven grandchildren; two brothers, Roger Guetersloh of Murphysboro, IL and Charles Guetersloh of Murphysboro; one sister, Mary Vaughn of Murphysboro, IL and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother: Raymond. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 10, 2008 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Raymond Barclay and Rev. Rob Mathis officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Thursday from 6 to 8 pm and on Friday at St. Luke's Lutheran Church, Campbell Hil from 9:00 am until 10:00 am.
