PERCY – Evelyn R. Bierman, 86, of Percy passed away at 9:55 AM, Saturday, May 5, 2018 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta.
Evelyn was born on October 19, 1931, in Cutler, the daughter of Rudolph and Elsie (Helfers) Wittenborn. She married Orville L. Bierman on December 1, 1950 in Steeleville, and they shared 67 years of marriage. Evelyn was a homemaker, and a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill.
Evelyn is survived by her husband; Orville Bierman, of Percy, her children; Neal (Sandy) Bierman, of Campbell Hill, Gary (Gail) Bierman, of Campbell Hill, Lynda (John) Livesey, of Witt, Illinois, 5 grandchildren, and 5 great grandchildren.
Mrs. Bierman was preceded in death by her parents, 1 grandchild, 1 Son; Marvin, and 1 brother.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Alan Karnacki officiating, and burial will follow at Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Tuesday evening at the funeral home where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Wednesday morning from 7:30 AM until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church Painting Fund.
