MURPHYSBORO – Euba Mae Crane, 71, passed away on Tuesday, June 20, 2023, at her home in Murphysboro, IL.

Euba was born on October 2, 1951, the daughter of Austin Floyd and Rachel Juanita (Robinson) Johnson. She married Walter Crane on March 26, 1971, in Murphysboro, Illinois. He preceded her in death on January 12, 2020. Euba was a homemaker and a member of Christ Community Church, Murphysboro, IL.

Euba is survived by her son, Jonathan Crane of Murphysboro, IL, siblings: Austin (Lisa) Johnson of Murphysboro, IL, Bob (Cindy) Johnson of DeSoto, IL, Frank (Sandy) Johnson of Pomona, IL, Herb (Kathy) Johnson of Dowell, IL, Mona (Fred) Froemling of Campbell Hill, IL; brothers and sisters-in-law: Arline (Bill) Rinehart of Murphysboro, IL, Helen (John) Russell of Murphysboro, IL, Roy (Julie) Crane of Murphysboro, IL, Leonard Crane of Murphysboro, IL, Carol Johnson of Murphysboro, IL, Lillian Johnson of Murphysboro, IL and Mary Hiser Johnson of Ava, IL.

Euba was also preceded in death by her parents, one sister, Lana June Johnson, three brothers: Floyd "Gene" Johnson, Carl Andrew Johnson, and Gary Wayne Johnson.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 23, 2023, at 4:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, with Pastor Ray Highfield officiating. Burial will be at a later date at Parrish Cemetery, Vergennes, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL, where friends may call from 2:00 to 4:00 pm.
