CAMPBELL HILL - Ethel L. Niederbrach, 93, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 2:44 pm, Thursday, February 14, 2013 at the Rehab and Care Center in Murphysboro. Ethel was born in Perry County, Illinois on October 23, 1919, the daughter of Thomas Allen and Maggie Elizabeth Schwebel Armstrong. She married Theodore H. Niederbrach on November 3, 1945 at Campbell Hill, IL. He preceded her in death on August 13, 1978. Ethel was a homemaker and was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill. Ethel is survived by one daughter, Mary Ann (David) Korando of Jacob; four grandchildren, Orval (Staci) Rowe, Lisa (Paul) Allison, Laura (Andrew) Mifflin and Charles (Leslie) Korando; and twelve great grandchildren, Julie (Zachary) Cason, Nicole Kimbrough, Timothy Kimbrough, Kendra Kimbrough, Lucas Allison, Allyson Mifflin, Matthew Mifflin, Austin Korando, Aaron Korando, Kylee Korando, Jake Korando and Chris Allison. Ethel was also preceded in death by her Parents; one son, Loran Allen; two sisters; and two brothers. Funeral service will be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013 at 11:00 am at the St. Peter Lutheran Church in Campbell Hill with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery in Campbell Hill. Visitation will be at St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, where friends may call from 9 to 11 am Saturday. Arrangements are under auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava. Memorials may be given to Calvary Cemetery or TIP Hospice.
