AVA, Erma J. Wilson, 78, of Ava, passed away at11:07 A.M. Saturday, February 07, 2009, at her home in Ava, IL. Erma was born June 12, 1930 in Birch Tree, Missouri the daughter of James W. Jones and Beulah (Smotherman) Jones. She married Eugene F. Wilson on May 24, 1952 at Salem, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on May 28, 2001. Erma attended Kinkaid Christian Fellowship in Ava, IL. Erma was a Homemaker and also worked for the Ava Food Pantry. Erma is survived by two sons, Terry (Sue) Wilson of Ava and Jerry (Karen) Wilson of Ava; 6 Grandchildren; 6 Great Grandchildren; and one sister, Shirley (John, Jr.) Wilson of Ava. Erma was also preceded in death by her Parents. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, February 10, 2009 at 1:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Ava with Pastor Roger Bastien officiating. Burial follow at Ava Evergreen Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava on Tuesday from 11 am to 1 pm. Memorials may be made to Ava Food Pantry.
