STEELEVILLE, Emma J. Boswell, 90, of Steeleville, passed away at 5:50 P.M. Sunday, October 16, 2011, at her home in Steeleville, IL. She was born September 20, 1921 in DuQuoin, Illinois the daughter of John Nevill and Cecil (Stevenson) Nevill. Emma married Paul D. Boswell on April 16, 1938 in Pinckneyville, IL. Paul passed away on February 20, 1986. She is survived by her two sons: Roger and Carol Boswell of Cutler, IL and Howard Boswell of Hartford, AL; daughter: Sharon Cane of Steeleville, IL; seven grandchildren: Kim and Brad Robinson, Jamie and Vicki Boswell, Tammy and Don Gaetz, Lisa and Chris Williams, Joel and Rosemary Boswell, Jason and Amy Boswell, Stacey and Mark Westerman, Matt Hampton, Ted and Janet Hampton and Chris Hampton; 16 great grandchildren; 11 great great grandchildren; one brother: Bob Nevill of Decatur, IL; several nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Paul, one infant son, three sisters, and one brother. Mrs. Boswell was a homemaker and a member of the Cutler Baptist Church in Cutler, IL. Funeral services will be held Friday, October 21, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Harry Jones will be officiating. Burial will be at Mueller Hill Cemetery in Pinckneyville, IL. Visitation will be on Thursday from 6 to 8pm at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL and then on Friday from 7:30am to 11am.
