STEELEVILLE – Eloise Robinson, 75, of Steeleville passed away at 4:09 AM, Sunday, September 23, 2018 at her home in Steeleville.
Eloise was born on September 15, 1943, in West Frankfort, the daughter of Ella (Keppel) Brown. She married Nelson J. Robinson, on December 25, 1963, in the St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville, and they shared 54 years of marriage. She was the manager of the Steeleville American Legion. Eloise was a member of the Peace Lutheran Church in Steeleville.
Eloise is survived by her husband; Nelson J. Robinson, of Steeleville, son; Jeffrey Steven Robinson, of Marissa, daughter; Sherri Lynn Robinson (Jesse Fortman), of Percy, granddaughter; Jennifer Lynn (Robbie) Tilley, 2 great grandchildren; Kennedy and Kolby. She is also survived by a niece; Toni (Joe) Patterson Rieckenberg and family, nephew; Robert (Maggie) Patterson, and family.
Mrs. Robinson was preceded in death by her parents, and 4 brothers.
It was Mrs. Robinson's wishes to be cremated and there will be no services, Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with arrangements.
