CHESTER, Elizabeth A. Reynolds, 91, of Chester, formerly of Steeleville and Sparta, passed away at 3:58 P.M. Monday, January 10, 2011, at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester, IL. She was born January 03, 1920 in Sparta, Illinois the daughter of William Arthur Lafferty and Kathleen (Vogt) Lafferty. Elizabeth married Edward Oscar Reynolds on September 17, 1938 in Sparta, Illinois. Edward passed away on September 29, 1987. She is survived by her children: Walter Allen and Dana Reynolds of Midlothian, VA., Jeffery Lynn and Georgina Reynolds of Madera, CA; grandchildren: Sara E. Reynolds of Midlothian, VA, Joshua A. Reynolds of Midlothian, VA, Allen and Lisa Lewis of St. Louis, MO, Michael Lewis of CO, Sherry Lewis of St. Louis, MO, Dawn Bone of St. Louis, MO, Don Bone of St. Louis, MO, Debra Darling of Tacoma, WA, Carol Handeguard of OR, Tracy Reynolds of WA, Marcella Reynolds of Madera, CA, Santino Reynolds of Madera, CA; great grandchildren: Victoria Lewis, Patrick Lewis, Scott Handeguard, and Alleysia Darling. Elizabeth is preceded in death by her parents, two children, George E. Reynolds and Ann Reynolds Bone, and one grandchild, DeWayne Darling. She was a homemaker in her own home, a member of the United Methodist Church in Steeleville, IL and she loved going to Senior Citizens. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 14, 2011 at 1:30 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Dr. Matthew A. Jaiah will be officiating. Burial will be at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville, IL. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Friday from 11:00 am until the hour of service. Memorials may be made to Steeleville Senior Citizens.
