CAMPBELL HILL, Elda Gerberding, 95, of Campbell Hill, passed away at 8:03 A.M. Friday, April 08, 2011, at St. Ann's Healthcare Center in Chester, IL. She was born November 30, 1915 in Campbell Hill, Illinois the daughter of Ernst Huseman and Minnie (Gieseking) Huseman. Elda married Raymond Fritz Gerberding on February 7, 1937 in Campbell Hill, IL. Raymond passed away on July 2, 1963. She is survived by her son: Ronald and Anna Gerberding of Lampe, MO; daughter: Barbara and Delbert Froemling of Ava, IL; six grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. Elda is preceded in death by her parents, one son, one granddaughter, one grandson and three brothers. Mrs. Gerberding was a homemaker in her own home and a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 11, 2011 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church of Post Oak in Campbell Hill. Rev. Kathryn Bielfeldt will be officiating. Burial will be at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church of Post Oak on Monday from 9 to 11am. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society, Passage Hospice or St. John's Building Fund. Arrangements are under the Auspices of Wilson's Funeral Home, Ava, IL.
