PERCY, Elaine C. Stickler, 85, of Percy, formerly of Marissa, IL, passed away at 7:35 P.M. Sunday, October 02, 2011, at Red Bud Regional Hospital in Red Bud, IL. She was born July 28, 1926 in Florence, Alabama the daughter of Frank B. Davis and Chappel Roberta (Roberts) Davis. Elaine married Samuel Martin Stickler November of 1947 in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. Samuel passed away on in 1976. She is survived by her children: Sam and Nola Stickler of Walsh, IL and Cathy and Kenneth Jaimet of Percy, IL; 10 grandchildren; host of great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law: Flora Davis and Betty Davis. Elaine is preceded in death by her parents, two sons: Michael Eugene Stickler and Jonathan Joseph Stickler; two brothers: Frank E. Davis and William B. Davis. She was an area rep for Gino Morena Enterprises and was of the Presbyterian Faith. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 5, 2011 at 2:30 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville. Rev. Joel Catlin will be officiating. Burial will be at Percy Village Cemetery. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Tuesday from 6-8 PM and the on Wednesday from 7:30 to the hour of service. Memorials may be made to Cardinal Glennon Hospital.
