STEELEVILLE – Eileen R. Taylor Clements, 87, of Steeleville, IL, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2022, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, IL.

Eileen was born April 3, 1935, in Cutler, IL, to Charles and Lena (Gerberding) Schlimme. She married Cecil Taylor, Jr, on April 30, 1955, in Steeleville, IL, he preceded her in death on January 17, 1994, she then married Billy J. Clements on November 29, 1996, in Tucson, AZ, he preceded her in death on October 19, 2006. Eileen was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL, and American Legion Auxiliary, Post 480, Steeleville, IL. She was a homemaker and a retired cashier at Walmart, Sparta, IL.

Eileen is survived by her children: Julie (Danny) Bedinger of Steeleville, IL, Jill Ehlers (Donnie Schwier) of Steeleville, IL; grandchildren: Justin Fulkerson of Steeleville, IL, Cory (Holly) Fulkerson of Carterville, IL, Chase Ehlers and Jaret Ehlers of Steeleville, IL; great grandchildren: Taytum Fulkerson and one due in August.

Eileen was preceded in death by her Parents and two sisters, Dorothy Allen and Mildred Eggemeyer.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Monday, June 27, 2022, St. Mark's Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL, with Rev. Mark Harriss officiating. Burial to follow at Paradise Cemetery, Steeleville, IL. Friends may call on Sunday, June 26, 2022, 5 – 8 pm and then on Monday, 8 – 11 am, at the church.
