PERCY, Edward A. Lehnhoff, 63, of Percy, passed away at 3:15 A.M. Monday, March 09, 2009, at his home in Percy, IL. Edward was born September 04, 1945 in Red Bud, Illinois the son of Vernon A. Lehnhoff and Edna (Nagel) Lehnhoff. He married Brenda Wills on October 16,1965 at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak. He retired from World Color Press and Chester Mental Health and Presently was a farmer. He was a US Army veteran having served from December 15, 1965 till September of 1966. Edward a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, Bremen, IL, B.B.K. American Legion Post #480, Steeleville, IL, Kaskaskia VFW Post #3553, Chester, IL, and Toy Farmers Club of Southern Illinois. He is survived by his wife Brenda Lehnhoff of Percy, IL; two sons, Robert Lehnhoff of Chicago, IL and Mark (Angie) Lehnhoff of Campbell Hill, IL; and five grandchildren, Michael Frieman, Rebecca Lehnhoff, Grace Lehnhoff, Eli Lehnhoff and Emily Lehnhoff. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be held Thursday, March 12, 2009 at 11:00 A.M. at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak with Rev. Edwin A. Reuter and Rev. Kathryn Bielfeldt officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Wednesday from 5 to 8 pm and on Thursday from 7:30 am until 9 am and on Thursday at St. John's Lutheran Church, Post Oak from 10 to 11 am. Memorials may be made to American Cancer Society or Gastroparesis Research.
