STEELEVILLE, Edward (N-D-N) J. Hornberger, passed away on July 10, 2015 at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. Edward was born in Chester, Illinois on January 3, 1950. He was retired from Chester Mental Health. Edward was a member of St. Mark's Lutheran Church in Steeleville; Steeleville Eagles Aerie #3960; and Chester Eagles Aerie #3252. Edward is survived by his children, Jason (Jenna Mitchell) Hornberger of Steeleville; Jodi (Ross Rickenberg) Hornberger of Steeleville; and Jacki (Rex) Conway of Percy; grandchildren, Dalton, Sadie, Lila, Rex and Kaylee; and his mother, Donna Jungewealter of Steeleville. Edward was preceded in death by his stepfather, Johnnie Jungewaelter; his father, Edward Hornberger; grandparents, Al and Pearl Durkee; and uncle, Danny Durkee. Edward's wishes were for cremation. A Memorial Service is planned for Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 4PM at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Kelly Bedard officiating. Visitation will be from 1 to 4PM on Saturday at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville.
