WILLISVILLE, Edward E. "Bud" Griffiths, Jr., 82, of Willisville, passed away at 5:45 P.M. Friday, January 30, 2009, at Fairview Nursing Center in DuQuoin, IL. Edward was born January 31, 1926 in Mulkeytown, Illinois the son of Edward Griffiths, Sr. and Lucille (Myers) Griffiths, Sr.. He was a Veteran of the Navy during WWII. He was a member of the Ironworkers Local #396 in E. St. Louis, IL. He accepted Jesus as his savior later in his life. He is survived by his children, Deborah Griffiths of Campbell Hill, IL, Connie Hale of Tamaroa, IL, Elaine James of Murphysboro, IL, Kyle Griffiths of Marietta, GA and Anna Griffiths of Marissa, IL; 7 grandchildren; brothers, William Griffiths of Willisville, IL and Danny Griffiths of Ballwin, MO; and one sister, Jean Bradley of Steeleville, IL. He was preceded in death by his Parents, one grandson, one brother and three sisters. Funeral services will be held Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 2:00 P.M. at Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville with Rev. Greg Sutter officiating. Burial will follow at Paradise Cemetery in Steeleville. Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 1 to 2 pm. The preferred form of rememberance is to T.I.P.
