CHESTER – Eddell Fedderke, 84, of Chester, passed away on Tuesday, January 19, 2016 Kindred Hospital in St. Louis, MO.
Eddell was born in Wine Hill on February 26, 1931, the daughter of Edmund and Lena Diercks Ebers. She married Henry J. Fedderke on December 23, 1951 in Wine Hill. He preceded her in death on November 1, 2009. Eddell was retired from American Device Mfg. in Steeleville. She was a member of St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill; a life member of the VFW Post #3553 Auxiliary in Chester; the St. Paul's Lutheran Ladies Aid; and numerous card clubs. Eddell loved to fish and she loved Cardinal bird watching. She had a great love for her family.
Eddell is survived by her children, Randy (Kim) Fedderke of Chester and Carla Fedderke of Chester; her grandchildren, Jerrod (Danielle) Hasemeyer of Chester and Dan Fedderke of Steeleville; her great grandchildren, Gage and Avery Jo Hasemeyer; her dog, Tracy; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Eddell was also preceded in death by her Parents and four brothers.
Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, Wine Hill with Rev. William F. Engfehr III officiating. Burial will follow at St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Thursday and on Friday from 7:30 am until 9 am then from 10 am until 11 am at the church. Memorials may be given St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery Fund at Wine Hill or St. John's Lutheran School, Chester, Building Fund.
