STEELEVILLE – Earline R. Eggemeyer, 82, of Steeleville, passed away on Wednesday, September 30, 2020, in Rockford, Illinois.

Earline was born in Shiloh Hill, Illinois, on February 12, 1938, the daughter of George and Emma Kessel Rieckenberg.  She married Calvin G. Eggemeyer on June 25, 1955 at St. Luke Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill.  She was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Walsh, Illinois.  She was a retired Secretary from Sparta Hospital, Sparta.

Earline is survived by her husband, Calvin Eggemeyer of Steeleville; daughter, Cathy (Kris) Axberg of Rockford, IL; 5 grandchildren; 4 great grandchildren; and brothers, Leroy (Mae) Rieckenberg of Campbell Hill and Robert (Cathy) Rieckenberg of Minnesota.

Earline was preceded in death by her Parents; two sons, Rick and Joey; brother, Homer Dean; and grandson, Michael.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at Zion Lutheran Cemetery, Walsh, with Rev. Edwin Reuter officiating.  Burial will follow.  Visitation will be from 12:30 until 2:30 pm at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville.  Memorials may be given to Zion Lutheran Church, Walsh.   By executive order, face masks are required and social distancing guidelines must be followed.
