CHESTER – Drake Michael Astin, 3 Months, 11 Days, passed away on Wednesday, January 27, 2016 at Memorial Hospital in Chester.
Drake was born in Carbondale, Illinois on October 16, 2015, the son of Michael and Shellie Richelman Astin. He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church in Chester.
Drake is survived by his parents, Michael and Shellie Astin of Chester; two sisters, Brenna and Bralynn Astin of Chester; maternal grandparents, William and Sherlin Richelman of Campbell Hill; and paternal great grandmother, Barbara Harbison of Karnak, IL.
Drake was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandparents.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 pm on Sunday, January 31, 2016 at the St. John's Lutheran Church in Chester with Rev. Tim Sims officiating. Burial will follow in St. Peter Lutheran Cemetery in Campbell Hill. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 5 pm until 8 pm Saturday and on Sunday from Noon until 2 pm at St. John's Lutheran Church. Memorials may be given to St. John's Lutheran School, Chester or the First Baptist Church in Chester.
