CUTLER – Douglas Thompson, 72, of Cutler, passed away at 11:40 am, Friday, May 13, 2026, at Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab, Pinckneyville, Illinois.

Douglas was born on February 25, 1954, in Morris, Illinois, the son of Cecil and Dorothy Ahrens Thompson. He loved to fish, crochet, and spending time with his family.

Douglas was preceded in death by his Parents; brother; and his Aunt and Uncle, Jessie and Donna Thompson, who provided and supported him for the past 40 years.

Graveside service will be held at 1:00 pm, Monday, May 18, 2026 at Cutler Cemetery in Cutler, Illinois, with Rev. Billy Pendergrass officiating.
