STEELEVILLE, Dorothy F. Wolters, 81, of Steeleville, passed away at 2:04 PM Wednesday, November 30, 2011, at Sparta Community Hospital in Sparta, Illinois. She was born September 21, 1930 in Perry County, Illinois the daughter of Henry Fastenau and Frieda (Knop) Fastenau. Dorothy married Edwin H. Wolters on Saturday, April 16, 1955 in Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL. Edwin passed away on November 25, 2002. She is survived by her: son: Harold Wolters, Sparta, IL; daughter: Helen Downs, Steeleville, IL; 4 Grandchildren; 2 Great grandchildren. Dorothy is preceded in death by her: parents, and two sisters. She was a homemaker in her home and also a member of the Potter's House in Sparta, Illinois. Funeral services will be held Saturday, December 3, 2011 at 10:30 AM at Wilson's Funeral Home Steeleville, Illinois. Rev. David Harbinson and Rev. Kevin Hansston will be officiating. Burial will follow at Caledonia Cemetery, Sparta, IL. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Friday from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM and then on Saturday from 7:30 to 10:30 am. Memorials may be made to American Diabetes Association, Potter's House or Victory Family Church.
