SPARTA –Dorothy VanSant, 91, of Steeleville, IL, passed away Saturday, December 25, 2021, at Three Springs Nursing Home.

Dorothy was born on January 13, 1930, in Shiloh, IL, to Hilda Hartman. She was a member of Apostolic Pentecostal Church of Chester and she was retired from Gilster Mary Lee in Chester.

Dorothy is survived by her daughters: Janie (Jason) Nichols of Sparta, IL, Pat Haun of Sparta IL; 5 grandchildren, Brother: Paul Hartman of Chester, IL, and Sister: Louise VanSant of Sparta, IL.

Dorothy was preceded in death by her mother.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, with Rev. Phil Keeton officiating. Burial to follow at St. John's Lutheran Cemetery, Bremen. Visitation will be at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, where friends may call from 11 am-2 pm, Thursday, December 30, 2021.
