STEELEVILLE – Dorothy M. Stewart, 98, of Steeleville, passed away on Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at Randolph County Care Center, Sparta, Illinois.

Dorothy was born in Shelbyville, IL, on August 6, 1924, the daughter of Lawrence and Bessie (Simmons) Lovins.  She married Charles V. Stewart on August 1, 1945, in Paducah, KY, he preceded her in death on October 13, 2005. Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of Peace Lutheran Church, Steeleville, IL. She is survived by several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy is also preceded in death by her parents, two sons; Charles L. Stewart and Kenneth R. Stewart; one brother and two sisters.

Visitation will be held Monday, February 27, 2023, from 12:00 to 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, February 27, 2023, at 2:00 pm, at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville, IL, with Parrish Ministry Assistant Julie Posth officiating.  Burial will follow at Peace Lutheran Cemetery, Steeleville, IL.  Memorials may be given to Peace Lutheran Church, c/o Wilson's Funeral Home, PO Box 217, Steeleville, IL, 62288.
