TILDEN – Dorothy Olive Stevenson Graham, 97, was born August 2, 1920 in Tilden, Illinois, passed away June 17, 2018 at the Randolph County Care Center in Sparta. She was the daughter of William Frank and Margaret Pearl (Dunn) Stevenson of Tilden. She was married to Willard Craig Graham on October 1, 1938 in Tilden. He preceded her in death on May 29, 1995.
Dorothy was the oldest living member of the Tilden Presbyterian Church, serving as a Deacon, Children's Sunday School Superintendent, an active member of the Presbyterian Women and Ollie Dunn Circle, Sparta Saddle and Bridle Club, Randolph County Farm Bureau and the Red Hat Ladies.
She was a Homemaker and devoted mother and grandmother. She was very supportive of her family exhibiting horses and mules throughout the years. She was a faithful caregiver to her grandparents and husband. She was an avid quilter and enjoyed working jigsaw puzzles in her later years.
Surviving family members are, Sharon (Curt) Hays of Tupelo, MS and their children, Craig (Becky), Lindsay, Jessica and Cody Hays, Maryville, MO, Shawn Hays and fiancée, Rachel Trebesh, Daphne, AL, Marybelle Trieb, Tilden, and her children, Shelly (Robert) Rush, and Andrew, Peyton, CO, John (Anne) Trieb and children, Caleb, Carter and Kennedy, Marissa, IL, Robert Graham of Tilden, Nancy (Joe) Williams, Thomsponville, IL, and sisters, Shirley Bergner, Sparta, Mary Jackson, Tilden, and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her Parents, her husband, son-in-law, Bob Trieb, her sister-in-law, Mary Graham, and three brothers-in-law, Lawrence Graham, Bill Bergner and Don Jackson.
Funeral service will be at 11:00 am, Friday, June 22, 2018, at the Tilden Presbyterian Church, with Rev. Dr. Dennis Hamilton officiating. Burial will follow at Tilden Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Thursday from 5 pm until 8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to the Tilden Presbyterian Church, Tilden. Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville is assisting the family with arrangements.
