TILDEN – Dorothy Lueth, 83, of Tilden, passed away at 9:05 pm, Tuesday, November 14, 2023, at her daughter's home in Coulterville.

Dorothy was born in Tilden, Illinois, on June 26, 1940, the daughter of Joseph and Jessie McKenzie Jarrett. She married Herman Lueth, Jr. on November 6, 1971, in Baldwin, Illinois. He preceded her in death on July 5, 2008. She retired as the Treasurer for the Village of Tilden. Dorothy was a member of the First Baptist Church in Tilden, and was active in various church and community organizations.

Dorothy is survived by her children, Bobbi Jo (Roger) Tite of Coulterville, Marc Lueth of Miami, FL, Mark Lueth of Houston, TX, and Temejin Hulsey of Florida; grandchildren, Randy (Pam) Blankenship, Greg (Jennifer) Triphahn, Chris Triphahn, Benjamin Tite, Nathaniel Tite and Tabitha Lancaster; great grandchildren, Sarah, Emma, Joel and Stephanie; and one great great granddaughter, River.

Dorothy was also preceded in death by her Parents; one daughter, Tamara; and sister, Helen.

Funeral service will be held at 11:00 am, Saturday, November 25, 2023, at the First Baptist Church in Tilden, with Rev. Paul Hahn officiating. Burial will follow at Tilden Cemetery. Visitation will be at the church on Saturday, November 25, 2023 from 9 am until 11 am. Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church, Tilden Building Fund or Tilden Scholarship Fund.
