AVA – Doris E. Wall, 97, of Ava, passed away at 4:49 pm, on Friday, December 31, 2021, at home.

Doris was born in Elkville, Illinois, on August 31, 1924, the daughter of Elmer and Glenna Nehring Peckler.  She married Randall J. Wall on November 24, 1943, in Ava, Illinois.  He preceded her in death on March 17, 2002.  Doris was Homemaker.  She was a member of the Ava Presbyterian Church, but attended the First Baptist Church in DuQuoin.

Doris is survived by four children, Ronald Wall of Mount Vernon, IL, Scott Wall of Ava, Pat Wall of Ava, and Sue (Richard) Tanner of Percy; granddaughter, Alison Fuhrhop; and four great grandchildren, Oliver, Johana, Silas and Abigail.

Doris was also preceded in death by her Parents; two sisters, Mary Lou Eichman and Patricia June Lisec; great granddaughter, Danica Kay Fuhrhop; and daughter-in-law, Barbara Rae Wall.

Graveside service will be held on Wednesday, January 5, 2022, at 1:00 pm, at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, with Rev.
