CUTLER – Doris Taylor, 74, of Cutler, passed away at 9:58 AM, Tuesday, January 16, 2018, at the Pinckneyville Nursing and Rehab Center.
Doris was born on April 27, 1943 in Pinckneyville, the daughter of Loren and Lucille (Davis) Craig. Mrs. Taylor was a homemaker and a member of the Loyalty Baptist Church, Sparta.
Doris is survived by 1 son; Mark (Angie) Queen, of Cutler, 1 grandson; Tim Queen, and great grandchildren; Kaisen Queen, Braelyn Queen, and Cambree Queen, she is also survived by 2 brothers; Thomas (Marcia) Taylor, of DuQuoin, Loren D. (Linda) Craig, of Willisville, 3 sisters; Linda (John) Goddard, of Sparta, Janet (Jim) Greenwood, of Mulkeytown, and Kathy (John) Hagene, of Mulkeytown.
Mrs. Taylor was preceded in death by her parents, and husband; Ira M. Queen.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM, Saturday, January 20, 2018, at the Loyalty Baptist Church, Sparta with Rev. Tom Foster officiating, and burial will follow at the Cutler Cemetery. Visitation will be held on Friday evening at the Wilson's Funeral Home in Steeleville where friends may call from 5 to 8 PM, and then on Saturday morning from 7:30 to 9 AM at the funeral home and then from 10 to 11 AM at the church. Memorials may be to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
