STEELEVILLE – Dorine M. Schnaare, 92, of Steeleville passed away at 12:30 PM, Tuesday, June 9, 2020 at the Coulterville Care Center, in Coulterville.

Dorine was born on October 4, 1927, in Ava, the daughter of Edwin and Alma (Gerberding) Misselhorn. She married Raymond L. Schnaare on September 22, 1946, at the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill and they shared 69 years of marriage before he preceded her in death on January 2, 2016. Dorine was a homemaker and she had Dolls by Dorine, making porcelain dolls, having the shop in her home for many years. She was a member of the St. Peter Lutheran Church, Campbell Hill, the St. Peter Ladies Aid, and she loved to quilt at the church, and to raise a garden.

Dorine is survived by her children; Rosalie (Ron) Davis of Pieron, IL, Marilyn K. (Lester) Meyerhoff of Percy, Daniel (Janett) Schnaare of Centralia, MO, and Steve (Rhonda) Schnaare of Sparta, 7 grandchildren; Jessica (Brian) Miller, of Mexico, MO, Jon (fiancée Madelin Watson) Schnaare, of Centraila, MO, Adam (Juliet) Meyerhoff, of Steeleville, Scott (Amy) Meyerhoff, of Huntsville, AL, Evan Meyerhoff, of Percy, Joseph Davis, of Pieron, IL, Chris Davis, of Pieron, IL, 7 great grandchildren, Brock, Alexis, Hope, Willow, Lukas, Emma, and Penelope. She is also survived by 2 sisters; Edith Huddleston, of Sparta, Ruth Ann (Dean) Kessel, of Dongola, IL.

Mrs. Schnaare was preceded in death by parents, 3 brothers; Elmer, Norman, Clarence, and 1 infant brother.

Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic there will be private graveside services held at the Calvary Cemetery, Campbell Hill, with Rev. Alan Kornacki officiating. Memorials may be made to the St. Peter Lutheran Church, or the St. Peter Ladies Aid, and be mailed to the Wilson's Funeral Home, P.O. Box 217, Steeleville, Illinois 62288.
