AVA – Donna Watts, 73, of Ava, passed away Saturday, November 27, 2021, at her home in Ava, Illinois.

Donna was born January 6, 1948, in Bell, CA, to Donald C. and Betty M. Smith Ward. Donna was a Veteran of the Marine Corps, having served during the Vietnam Conflict. She was retired from Building Services at SIU, Carbondale, IL, and graduated from Lapuente High School, Class of 1965.

Donna is survived by her daughter Heather M. (Brian) Kulich of Chester, IL, grandchildren: Damien Cotton, Tyler (Michaela) Cotton, Robert Cotton, Justin (Maegan) Kulich, Kira McGhee, Dylan Kulich, Mya Kulich, Gavin Kulich; eight great grandchildren, nephews, Adam Ward, Matthew (Taketa) Ward, niece Sharon Ward and numerous great nieces and nephews.

Donna is preceded in death by her parents, brother Robert Clark Ward and a son Robert Clark Watts.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 am, Thursday, December 2, 2021, at Ava Evergreen Cemetery, Ava, IL, with Pastor Chester Wisely officiating. Burial to follow service.
