STEELEVILLE – Donna J. Harmon, 89, of Steeleville, IL, formerly of Decatur and Bement, peacefully passed away on August 7, 2022, at home surrounded by her loved ones.

Donna was born August 26, 1932, to Lynn and Gladys Crook in Decatur, IL. She graduated from Bement High School in 1950 and immediately joined the workforce as a bookkeeper. A profession she pursued until her retirement. Donna married Dale Clow in November 1952, and together they had two daughters, Jani and Patti. She married Walter Jones in April 1982 and Charles "Red" Harmon in October 2005. They precede her in death. Donna was an accomplished pianist, competitive bowler, champion golfer and avid gardener.

Donna is survived by her daughters: Jani Hamilton and Patti (Terry) Alms; step-daughters: Renee (Jay) Hartman, Sharon (Mike) Foran, Linda Harmon and stepson Larry Harmon, grandchildren: Eric Hamilton, Tara Hamilton-Eades, Brittany (Cody) Mueller, step granddaughter, Kim (Todd) Williamson; great grandchildren: Haley (Wade) Willoughby, Jessica Eades, Kendall and Ramsey Eades, Claire and Paige Hamilton, Max and Garrett Mueller; step granddaughter, Savannah Williamson, and great great grandchildren, Brecken and Teagan Willoughby.

It was Donna's wish to be cremated. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
