PERCY – Donald D. Jones, 73, of Percy, passed away Tuesday, January 19,2021 at his home in Percy, Illinois.

Donald was born March 31, 1947 in Oregon, IL, Russell and Margaret Pasdertz Jones.  He married Clarice D. Cox on June 1, 1991 in Prairie du Rocher, IL.  She preceded him in death on March 15, 2016.  Donald was a retired lineman for Ameren Electric.  He was a member of Hope Lodge 162, A.F. & A.M., Sparta, IL, B.B.K. American Legion Post 480, Steeleville, IL, VFW Post in Oregon, IL, Anaid Shrine of East St. Louis, IL, and the Eagles Aerie #3059, Sparta, IL.

Donald is survived by his daughters; Christy (Charles Ansley) Jones of Belleville, IL, and Tina (Dave) Voelkel of Percy, IL, five stepchildren, fourteen grandchildren and a host of great grandchildren.  He is also survived by his siblings; Susan McCollom of Mendota, IL, Urban Jones of Rockford, IL and John Jones of Oregon, IL.

Donald was also preceded in death by his parents, two sisters and one brother.

It was Donald's wishes for cremation and a Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.  Memorials may be given to the Shriners Hospital for Children and can be mailed to Wilson Funeral Home, P.O.
