Donald W. Crowder WILLISVILLE, Donald W. Crowder, 81, of Willisville, passed away at 1:45 P.M. Thursday, June 26, 2008, at his home in Willisville, IL. He was born December 05, 1926 in Hillary, Illinois the son of Slyvester Crowder and Mary (Sims) Crowder. Donald married Helen M. Bolton on August 12, 1950 in Munice, Illinois, she passed away on January 23, 1999. He is survived by daughter; Gina Williams of Willisville, IL; son, David and Rita Crowder of Steeleville, IL; Grandchildren; Don Ray Williams, Ronna Henniger, Elliott Crowder, Jolena Crowder; great grandchildren, Cortney Williams, Damien Williams, David Henniger, Steven Henniger, Kelly Henniger. He served in the Navy during World War II, was a member of the U.M.W of A. Local #1392 and the American Legion. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son Jimmy, two brothers and two sisters. Funeral services will be held Monday, June 30, 2008 at 1:00 P.M. at the Oakwood Methodist Church in Oakwood, IL. Burial will be at Oak Hill Cemetery in Oakwood, IL Visitation will be held at Wilson's Funeral Home, Steeleville on Sunday from 5-8 PM Memorials may be made to Autisim Foundation or to the Oakwood Methodist Church.
